It's another "the arrows point in the wrong direction" trail, but with exceptions & variations! Don't miss the chalk talk or you will almost certainly end up confused during the run! (In fact, that may happen anyway, but still... 😛)

Please order food before the run. You may leave your bag at the restaurant during the run, but it's at your own risk.

The Blow Queens (Regina ventis) and the closely related Slow Queens (Regina lenta) of the north are some odd birds indeed. As the days get shorter and the nights get colder, they start to get restless. They know that it's time to pack their bags and head west to warmer climates, but leaving isn't always easy.

Many *low Queens are like procrastinators. They put off leaving until the very last minute and instead will run around in circles, making strange marks, drink alcoholic beverages, and then take off again. They'll even try to convince their friends to run with them and their beckoning can be very persausive, indeed.

Afterwards, they'll observe mysterious social pecking rituals and sing crude mating songs, all accompanied by more beer drinking. What is the purpose of these rituals and why is the running necessary before the drinking begins? Nobody knows. All we do know is that this Wednesday might be the last chance to observe these rare species in their natural habitat before the big migration begins.
